Hi LOL! It seems like we just met! What a great Halloween celebration! Okay so Thursday let's talk about the time: past, present, and future. Please come prepared to talk about a book of your choice and discussion the following: How did the historical, present, or future setting in which the story took place affect the story? Would the story be the same if it had taken place in another era? Why do you think the author wrote the story in that particular era? What about books that were written a long time ago, but were in the present at the time that they were published. How do they read now that they actually take place in the past? What about books that were written in the past about the future, i.e. 1984? What are those like to read now that the future is actually in the past???? When reading the story, was it told chronologically or did the author jump back and forth between the present, future, and past?
