Endings...love it or hate it.

Hi All!

This is unforgivably late! So we are meeting this Thursday to discuss the endings of books! Happy, sad, surprising, well developed, open, closed, and fuzzy are just a few of the ways I can think of describing the endings to some of my favorite books! What do you think?

Please come ready to discuss and post something below!

See you Thursday!

  1. I like books with happy endings where the good characters have succeeded and are ready to continue their lives. They can be opened with possible adventures in the future or closed and they live happily ever after. I hate books with sad or depressing endings or endings that make me feel blah at the end. I didn't like the ending to the Divergent series. It ended with a happy ending for some of the characters and they created a new system, but it made me feel like blah.

  2. I like books with a closed ending. I hate not knowing what happens for sure. If I am reading a really good book then the author just cuts me off I feel like I am missing the best part to the book.

  3. I like books with surprise endings. They are so good but I don't like how most don't continue to another book.

  4. I like books that end with something surprising but also have a closed ending. I didn't like the ending to the Maze Runner series because there seemed to be a lot left unexplained at the end. The book didn't really make much sense and also left the ending wide open.
