Thanks for the great discussion about The Perks of Being Wallflower yesterday! For our last meeting of the year, we will pick books to read as a group for next year. Please comment about a book you would like to suggest as a "group read." Feel free to include a link to Amazon or review so others can take a look. Many of you mentioned Ready Player One as an option.  I am excited to see what else you suggest!

  1. We could read The Ghost and the Darkness which is about two man eating lions in Tsavo. The main character is a railroad builder who has to kill the lions so that the bridge will get finished. The lions kill almost a hundred people. It is based on a true story.

  2. We could read Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion. It is about zombies, but I have never read it. I have seen the movie though. I think it would be interesting to read.

  4. Or we could read Howl's Moving Castle. It is about a girl named Sophie who is cursed by a witch. She goes to work for a wizard named Howl who has a moving castle and he has a fire demon named Calcifer.
